Welcome to The Carriage House - where the past meets the present! The home was built by K-State's first president Joseph Denison in 1859. Since the current owners took possession in 1994, the home has undergone major restoration. The Carriage House is one of the attached apartments to the original Denison home. It has been updated with new luxury furniture, marble bathroom countertops. An escape in the middle of the city! Centrally located on the West side of Manhattan, The Carriage House is the perfect spot for travelers to enjoy all of The Little Apple's amenities. The home is set up for your work trip, K-State ball game, tour of campus, or just looking to explore the city!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Carriage House! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had a cozy, peaceful vibe. The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances, dinnerware, and cookware - everything we needed. The location was also great, with restaurants and shops nearby. The binder of info about the place, recommendations around town, and check-out instructions were put together well and very helpful. The hosts were very responsive from the time I booked to even after I checked out. I highly recommend The Carriage House! It'll be our go to Airbnb whenever we are ever in Manhattan, KS again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House! The grounds are beautiful and well-kept! I enjoyed a quiet cup of coffee and a book in the outdoor seating area while listening to the morning birds. Although we ate dinner out with our K-State junior, I prepared eggs, bacon, and toast in the Carriage House kitchen and I had plenty of utensils and counter space. It’s very clear that this historic property is meticulously loved and cared for!

This was a great place to stay. Quiet, easy to navigate to and from, Kendra was so responsive and friendly. Beautiful house and surroundings. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Manhattan.

We love staying at the Carriage House! We try to book it whenever we head to Manhattan to see family. It's quiet and in a convenient location that's close to either side of town. Kendra is one of the nicest and most thoughtful hosts that we stay with through either AirBNB or VRBO. She even once made an arrangement to send the Property Manager out to offer us an open space in the garage for our rental car when a major storm was coming into town. (The typical parking space is open and right in front of the door to the Carriage House.) We look forward to staying here again in the future.
